Co-Parenting with Purpose is Minnesota Families United's parent education program — 8 hours of research-grounded, court-approved curriculum designed to give parents the tools, knowledge, and confidence to protect their children through one of the hardest transitions a family can face.

Whether you join us in person or complete the program online at your own pace, you will leave with practical skills that make a real difference — for your child, and for your family's future.

What You Will Learn

  • The Minnesota court process from filing to final order — and what every professional in the room actually does

  • Why parental conflict — not divorce itself — is what research consistently shows harms children most, and what you can do about it

  • The BIFF communication method and other practical tools for reducing escalation between co-parents

  • How to build a parenting plan that works for your child's age, stage, and family situation

  • How to recognize your child's stress signals and respond in ways that build long-term resilience

  • How to co-parent effectively through new partners, relocation, and every milestone ahead

  • Facilitator: Built-in guided curriculum

  • Certificate: Instant upon completion

  • Standard Fee: $100

 

Minnesota Families United is committed to making this program accessible to every family. A sliding fee scale is available for both formats based on household income. No one is turned away due to inability to pay. Contact us before registering to discuss fee assistance.
