Parent Education

Minnesota Families United Parent Education Program is designed to provide families the skill sets necessary to raise healthy, happy children. Families will explore a variety of topics including child development, effective communication, positive redirection, behavior management, dangers of chemical usage around children, trauma, etc. Minnesota Families United will work closely with case managers, social service agencies, and/or other related professionals to provide the most comprehensive experience for the families. Educational materials are tailored to meet the needs of each individual family. Parent education sessions are available with or without supervised visits. For each session the supervisor will provide a summary note explaining the topic of education.

Supervisors will monitor and provide a summary of the progress of clients who participate in both parent education and supervised visits.

Minnesota Families United offers parent education to individual clients and small groups.
